My Little Pink Home

Welcome to my Home

This is not a minimalist lifestyle blog.
It is not a productivity factory.

This is a lived-in space.

There is flour on the counter.
Books lie open mid-chapter.
A knitting or sewing project sits nearby, in various stages of completion.

There is lace at the windows and a pot simmering on the stove.

I am a woman, just like you, who has lived many roles; daughter, wife, mother, divorcee, teacher, community college instructor, friend, grandmother to name a few. I am now choosing deliberately how I want to live.

Although this house is filled with old and pretty things, I want to make it clear that this is not a blog just about nostalgia.

We live in the present. We must learn from the past.
But the only direction we have is forward, and we must move there with intention.

This is about sovereignty.
About embracing the life we have now.

It is about creating a space that nurtures us,
so we can step back into the world with clarity.

Come sit a bit, I put on a cup of tea.

Vintage kitchen cabinet with linens, china bowls, jars of sugar and dry goods, and a wicker basket.

Nourishing Spaces

The work of the home. Create spaces that support and sustain you.

A vintage typewriter on a lace tablecloth, with an open handwritten journal and a pen, a cup of tea, a lit candle in a jar, a vase of pink flowers, and old books.

Personal Reinvention

The work of becoming who you have always known you could be.

A cozy table setting with a lit candle in a brass holder, a pink floral teacup with saucer, a plate with a covered dish, a teapot, and a large vase of pink flowers on a wooden table near a window with curtains.

Seasonal Alchemy

The work of aligning your life with the season you are in.
