Welcome to my Home!
This is not a minimalist lifestyle blog.
It is not a productivity factory.
This is a lived-in space.
There is flour on the counter.
Books lie open mid-chapter.
A knitting or sewing project sits nearby, in various stages of completion.
There is lace at the windows and a pot simmering on the stove.
I am a woman, just like you, who has lived many roles; daughter, wife, mother, divorcee, teacher, community college instructor, friend, grandmother to name a few. I am now choosing deliberately how I want to live.
Although this house is filled with old and pretty things, I want to make it clear that this is not a blog just about nostalgia.
We live in the present. We must learn from the past.
But the only direction we have is forward, and we must move there with intention.
This is about sovereignty and embracing the life we have now.
It is about creating a space that nurtures strength, so we can step back into the world with clarity.
Come sit for a bit, I’ll put on a cup of tea.
Nourishing Spaces
This is the work of the home. It is about creating spaces that support and sustain you.
Personal Reinvention
This is the work of becoming who we really are and how we want to live next.
Seasonal Living
This is the work of rhythm, and intentionally aligning with the seasons.
